When to Visit Kasol?
From October to June, the best months to visit this scenic paradise. During the whole year, Kasol has mild and nice weather. But the magical landscape of this place can be experienced from March to May.
The temperature is 15 to 22 degrees Celsius. But if you like the winters, it is the right season to wander in the night of October-February with the cool wind biting on your cheeks. The temperature varies between 3°C and 10°C.
But in winter, you won’t have much time to explore Kasol. Usually, the roads are blocked by snow and you must spend all your time in hotel coats. During the winter, it is possible to walk to Kheerdanga, Pin Parvati, and Sar Pass.
But in these months, if you want to experience nature’s beauty, it’s best to avoid Kasol. Avoid the monsoon season, as the roads are slippery and dangerous, from July to September. To risk, it is not wise.
How to Reach Kasol?
Direct trains and busses to Kasol are not available. Delhi offers the maximum number of buses. You can take a coach from Delhi to Bhuntar and choose a local HRTC coach that is about 50 minutes away from Bhuntar to Kasol. There are nearly INR 1000 bus services from Delhi to Bhuntar from Himachal Bhavan.
You can also rent a car from Bhuntar to Kasol if you don’t want to travel by bus. Discover the beauty of nature at your own pace. You will feel closer to culture because there are beautiful and hidden places wherever you stop.
